Syed Javaid A. Kazi, FPSA is a long time PSA member having joined the society in 1969. He was awarded FPSA in 1989 becoming the first ever Pakistan photographer to receive this distinction. One of the leading exhibitors from Pakistan, he has been listed amongst the PSA “Top 25 Exhibitors” several times.
Kazi was awarded the “Master-FIAP” distinction in 2000 and Fellowship of the Royal Society (FRPS) in 2003. In recognition as a photographer and for his significant services for the promotion of photographic art, he has been honored by major photographic societies around the world. His work is part of the permanent collections of several prestigious societies and galleries including PSA and has been extensively published.
Kazi has been conferred with the President of Pakistan’s Medal for “Pride of Performance” in the field of culture (photography).
