When using my camera I first study the subject or setting, program the camera, and then shoot. I like to get in close where I become apart of the intended shot which in turn allows the person viewing the photo to feel as if they are there. It is important to know the meaning or the reason for the shoot and to convey that using the camera, lens, and settings, plus your skills as a photographer. Stay open and look for opportunity.
