I am a retired CPA and over my lifetime I have taken many photos basically in the “snapshot” category. About seven years ago I decided to become a serious amateur photographer. I took two courses in photography at the School of the Chicago Art Institute one in black and white and one in color photography both involving film. Then I purchased a Nikon D-100 digital camera and have not used my film camera since. I joined the Arlington Camera Club in Arlington Heights, Illinois which sponsors classes, photo shoots and competitions. I am thoroughly enjoying my retirement hobby.
