I've been taking pictures for many years, starting from black and white, slides, and then digital. Avid hiker and traveler, I did not think much of my shots. My main goal was to show all the wonderful places I visited to my friends, family, and coworkers and share my adventures with them. Although I always tried to take better pictures using my intuitive feel for a good composition, travel and not photography was my priority. However, in the last years, after I lost my ability for strenuous mountain hiking, photography took over and became a serious hobby. Here are some pictures that were accepted in PSA approved competitions and even earned a few medals.
