My name is Mark Yoder. I bought my first 35mm SLR in 1977 and have spent the last 30 plus years perfecting my passion. I most enjoy shooting nature, wildlife, flowers, and architecture. Digital photography has opened a new avenue for me experimenting with light, tones, and composition. I have always enjoyed looking for the shot no one else saw, usually by challenging the composition rules or by changing perspective. My newest challenge has been exploring black and white photography looking for that Ansel Adams shot. The shadows, shades and tones of B&W that can be achieved intrigue my artistic passions. Even flowers can be more dramatic in the B&W shades of gray rather than in color.
