Though I had a camera since a very young age, I only took photography seriously in 1996. My photography took off when I joined Malta Photographic Society and learned a lot from the local experienced photographers. Up to 2005 I spent most of my spare time in my own darkroom but now I have gone all digital. My favorite subjects are shooting action and people photography, but I also keep an open mind to other aspects of photography.
I have been a committee member of the Malta Photographic Society since the year 2000 and apart from other positions on the committee I was Vice President for four years. At the moment I am holding the post of President of the Society for the second year running. After 44 years in industry I am retired and am spending most of my time towards the Society's needs and photography.
I have been a member of PSA since 1999.
