Getting a Brownie 44a camera for Christmas as a child was a gift that started me on a lifelong path of imagery. From the earliest days, to the hundreds of thousands of microscope images of my career in science, my love of photography has remained strong. The path from darkroom to computer is one I relish, being able to combine photographic art and science to a new form of visual art.
