In 1952 David began experimenting with a photo enlarger in his dad's darkroom. In 1958 he purchased a used Leica model iiif that he used until 2007 when he purchased a digital camera. In addition to being a juried photographer in a local fine art gallery, David is also a juried watercolor artist and sells his art locally, and online. David has won several awards including Best of Show, and has had several pieces accepted into juried National Shows.
