I have been in the business either as a full time freelancer or part-time shooter since the mid 1970's. I went part-time as I got married and had children. I had a studio that in the beginning was a darkroom lab, wedding and portrait studio. I gradually moved from the wedding and portrait business to commercial and industrial work as well as the freelance work for the local newspapers.
I am now working on rebuilding the studio and doing article writing with photos as well. I have moved almost totally from the film cameras to digital. I am a member of National Association of Photoshop Professionals, Society of Professional Journalist, National Press Photographers Association and the Photographic Society of America.
