My training is in Economics, a field far removed from the art and practice of Photography. All during my business traveling years I never gravitated to taking pictures except for occasional snapshots when accompanied by my love of 54 years Mary. My first SLR camera, a Nikon DSLR D50, was a birthday gift from my wife in 2005. That date, a watershed in my personal photographic history, so dramatically changed my attitude and feelings towards the art of photography that for better or worse it now consumes most of my passive time. I am a self-taught Photoshopper, a member of the Boynton Beach Camera Club (Florida), an avid landscape, portrait and macro photographer and a lover of the “Altered Reality” technique.
