Bill Hodges - I first became interested in Photography when my father showed me how to develop and print Black & White back in the 1950s. I joined my first photographic club (Southland Photographic Society) in 1958. In 1959 I joined the Royal New Zealand Navy. 32 years later I retired from the service and settled in Tauranga, New Zealand and set up a small photographic business working from home My work was mainly weddings and a small amount of commercial. I also supplied stock Libraries. I’m now retired. I‘m a member of the Tauranga & North Shore Photographic Societies and a member of the Photographic Society of New Zealand. Been awarded their Service award. I have won awards nationally & Internationally. I have gained my EFIAP and APSNZ distinctions. Once I spent many hours in the Darkroom. Now those hours are spent on the computer. Love doing PJ, People, Nature and creative images.
